摘　　要：通过现代化运动实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦是21世纪中国特色社会主义发展的重大战略构想,其中,建设现代性海南是这一战略构想实现的重要一极。在海南实现区域现代化的诸多问题中,实现海南民众从传统人格向现代人格的转变是最为关键的问题。培育现代人、构建现代人格是高等教育和特区精神文明建设的根本任务。海南热带海洋学院契合海洋强国梦、海洋强省梦,通过实现学校两次转型升级,积极探索代表区域文化精神地标的发展模式。The Chinese Dream of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through the modernization movement is an important strategic concept of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the 21 st century.Building a modern Hainan is an important part for the realization of this strategy.Of the many problems of regional modernization in Hainan,the most critical and arduous problem is to realize the transformation of Hainan people from traditional personality to modern personality.Cultivating modern people and constructing modern personality are the fundamental tasks of higher education and the construction of special economic civilization.Hainan Institute of Tropical Oceanography is in line with the Dream of becoming a strong marine country and a strong marine province.Through the two transformations and upgrades,it actively explores the development model that represents the regional cultural and spiritual landmark.
