摘  要:拟建新疆吉木乃草原石城世界地质公园地质遗迹景观资源丰富,类型多样,共计有5大类11类14亚类111处地质遗迹景观,以典型的花岗岩石蛋地貌、宏大的花岗岩洞穴和丰富的古人类活动遗迹为核心景观。公园的花岗岩石蛋地貌体量巨大,分布相对集中,完整展示了花岗岩石蛋由表及里、由上至下的演化过程,是世界上研究中温带花岗岩地貌演化最为典型的地区;通天洞是目前发现的最大的花岗岩基岩洞穴之一;通天洞遗址的发现,填补了中国缺少典型旧石器时代中期莫斯特文化类型的空白,为研究联接欧亚大陆东西方远古人类与文化交流的史前丝路的存在提供了关键证据,对于旧石器石时期世界东西方文化交流的研究具有全球对比意义。The proposed Jeminay Grassland Stone Town world geopark is rich in geoheritagelandscape resources which are distributed over 114 sites and may be divided into 5 categories,11 subcategories and 14 basic types.Its core landscapes are typical granite eggs,giant granite caves and abundant remains of ancient human activity.The granite eggs are giant on scale and fully displays the weathering process of the granite.Therefore,the studied area is the most typical one making a special study of granite landform and its evolution in the middle temperate zone of the earth.The Tongtian Cave here is one of the largest granite batholite caves ever discoveredin the world.The discovery of the Tongtian Cave sitefills a gap in the Mousterian in the middle Paleolithic stage and provides the key evidence for the existence of the prehistoric Silk Road for the communication of ancient human and culture between the East and the West which is of global significance for the study of the cultural exchange between the East and the West in the Paleolithic stage.
