摘 要:"皇民化"运动是1937—1945年间日本殖民者对台湾民众推行的一场旨在全面改造台湾民众身份的政治运动。在这场运动中,殖民者主要从日语的进一步普及、宗教信仰的改变、生活方式的日本化及传统姓名的更改这四个层面对台湾高山族进行形塑。貌似文化同化措施背后所隐藏的其实是殖民者图谋通过外部的强力介入,从文化、身份和政治认同等方面对高山族进行全面改造的本质。通过"皇民化"运动的"洗脑"教育,不少高山族青年产生了虚幻的日本"国民"意识,甚而积极参加"高砂义勇队",充当日本军国主义的战争机器和炮灰。从长远来看,"皇民化"运动对高山族的形塑也埋下了少数人后来持"台独"错误立场的思想祸根。The Kominka Movement was a political movement carried out by Japanese colonists from 1937 to 1945 to comprehensively transform the identity of Taiwan Residents.In this movement,the colonists mainly shaped the Gaoshan ethnic group in Taiwan in four aspects:the further popularization of the Japanese language,the change of their religious belief,the Japanization of lifestyle and the alteration of their traditional names.What seemed to be hidden behind the measures of cultural assimilation was Japanese colonists’attempt to comprehensively transform Gaoshan in terms of their culture,identity and political identification by strong external intervention.Through the“brainwashing”education in the Kominka Movement,many youths of Gaoshan produced an illusory Japanese“national”consciousness,and even actively joined the Takasago Volunteers,becoming the war machine and cannon fodder of Japanese militarism.In the long run,the shaping of Gaoshan by the Kominka Movement also resulted in a few people’s ideology of Taiwan independence,which is a wrong position.
