摘　　要：中国近现代乡村图书馆的兴起与发展,究其原因,与国外乡村图书馆理念的引入、民众教育向乡村纵深发展的需要以及杨立诚“设立乡村图书馆案”的推动等,都有着密切的关系;探讨并厘清它们之间的联系,还原近现代乡村图书馆的历史风貌,对于当代乡村图书馆事业具有很大的参考价值。The reasons for the rise and development of modern rural libraries in China are closely related to the introduction of the concept of rural libraries abroad,the need for the in-depth development of public education in rural areas,and the promotion of Yang Licheng's"Proposal for Setting up Rural Libraries",etc.Discussing and clarifying the connection between them and restoring the historical features of modern rural libraries have great reference value for the cause of contemporary rural libraries.
