摘 要:在冷泉调查研究中,多波束系统因其快速高效、成本较低的特点被广泛应用。本文靶定南海北部陆坡琼东南盆地冷泉发育区,介绍了SeaBeam 3030多波束系统在冷泉发育区中的调查应用实例。通过分析多波束水深数据和水体数据,确定了调查区海底地形地貌以及水体羽状流特征,同时对该冷泉区开展综合调查的必要性进行了初步分析。研究表明,调查区内地形整体平坦,水深1250~1850 m,水深向东北方向逐渐加深。调查区不均一麻坑的发育、水体资料清晰显示的850 m左右高度的羽状流喷发形态,可以作为潜在冷泉发育区的有力证据。在冷泉的快速勘查与识别过程中,自带水体数据采集成像功能的多波束系统,可以为冷泉调查提供科学可靠的技术依据。但对冷泉的精细刻画与成因分析,还需借助于多道地震、原位观测、高分辨率摄像等其他探测手段的综合应用。A multibeam sonar system is widely used in the investigation of cold springs because it is fast,efficient,and cost effective.In this paper,we introduce an application example of the SeaBeam 3030 multibeam system in the cold spring development area in Qiongdongnan Basin on the northern slope of the South China Sea.Based on the multibeam depth data and water data analysis,topographic features and characteristics of water plumes in the survey area were determined,and the necessity of conducting a comprehensive survey in the cold spring area was preliminarily discussed.Results show that the terrain is flat as a whole,the water depth of the survey area is 1250~1850 m,and the water depth gradually deepens to the northeast.The development of uneven pockmarks in the northeast of the investigation area and the submarine plume eruption pattern at about 850 m in the water data can be used as strong evidence for the the potential cold spring development area.In the exploration and identification of cold seepages,the multibeam system with a water column data acquisition function can provide a scientific and reliable technical basis for it.However,the fine characterization and genesis analysis of cold spring need the comprehensive application of multi-channel seismic,in situ observation,high-resolution camera and other detection methods.
