摘 要:针对毫米波辐射计接收前端探测灵敏度低、结构复杂、集成度低的问题,设计了一款用于W波段辐射计的射频前端组件。该组件工作于77~79 GHz频段,采用超外差一次变频接收体制,基于毫米波裸芯片及微带电路技术进行研制,组件集成了低噪声放大、本振源、下变频及中频放大等功能电路。在射频信号输入端,使用厚度为0.127 mm的石英基片设计了低损耗波导耦合探针,以实现较低的噪声系数。在本振链路中,由压控振荡器产生本振基波信号,设计了中等Q值的陶瓷谐振器以提高本振频率稳定度。同时分别设计了Ka波段和E波段的陶瓷带通滤波器,以提高本振信号谐波和杂散抑制性能。组件采用混合集成单模块封装技术,在保证性能的前提下实现结构的紧凑性。测试结果表明,在77~79 GHz频率范围内,接收链路的增益为(41±2)dB,在1~3 GHz的中频带宽内噪声系数低于8.6 dB,在1.5 GHz附近噪声系数约为5.8 dB,杂散抑制大于40 dB,实现了预期设计指标。Aiming at low sensitivity,complex structure and low integration of the traditional radio frequency(RF)front ends of millimeter wave radiometers,a RF front end of W-band radiometer was proposed.The proposed RF module works over the 77-79 GHz band based on super-heterodyne principle,the millimeter wave die chips and microstrip line circuits.Low noise amplifier(LNA),local oscillator(LO)source,down-converting mixer and intermediate frequency(IF)amplifier were integrated.At the RF interface,a 0.127 mm thick quartz based probe transition was designed to achieve low transmission loss,thus the low noise figure.In the LO chain,a voltage control oscillator(VCO)was adopted to produce fundamental LO signals,a ceramic based resonator with medium Q value was added to increase the frequency stability of LO signals.Two ceramic based band-pass filters(BPF)at Ka-band and W-band were designed separately to suppress the unwanted spurious signals.All the functional circuits were integrated in a single packaged module to achieve compact structure.The test results show that the gain of the receiver is(41±2)dB in the frequency range of 77-79 GHz.The noise figure is lower than 8.6 dB in the IF bandwidth of 1-3 GHz,while the noise figure is about 5.8 dB at 1.5 GHz.The measured spurious suppression is greater than 40 dB.This result indicates the developed module has achieved the expected performance.
