摘　　要：西医治疗糖尿病周围神经痛副作用和局限性大。中医从整体治疗糖尿病周围神经痛,具有副作用小,疗效更加巩固。本文探讨了糖尿病周围神经痛与肝经湿热之间的关系。糖尿病周围神经痛的病机是消渴日久,阳气悍而燥热郁甚,以致内热伤阴。随后肝气郁结,郁而化火。湿热内蕴结于肝,沿肝经损伤关节、筋脉,气血运行不畅,久病入络,经络痛痹,以致发病。故肝经湿热在糖尿病周围神经痛致病中起主要作用。尧新华教授活用龙胆泻肝汤从肝经湿热证辨证论治糖尿病周围神经痛,在清利肝胆湿热的同时灵活采用解郁活血、祛风通络、散瘀止痛、健脾开胃等法,取得了良好的治疗效果。Western medicine treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)have limitations with lots of drug side effects.Traditional Chinese Medicine owns advantages in the treatment of DPN with little side effects,higher therapeutic efficacy.This paper summarized the clinical experience of Professor Xinhua Yao in treating DPN using Longdan Xiegan Decoction.He pointed out that DPN belongs to Xiaokebizheng,showing long-term symptoms such as thirsty and fierce.Internal heat of which hurts Yin,which is the possible pathogenesis of DPN in the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Patients of DPN showed relieved thirsty and depression,better blood circulation,removed blood stasis,and pain amelioration after Longdan Xiegan Decoction.treatment.Professor Xinhua Yao achieved ideal effect using Longdan Xiegan Decoction.on DPN.
