摘　　要：维克多·雨果的《九三年》涉及大量环境描写,多处场所的设置使得故事更具空间感和层次感。无论是旺代叛乱的地点还是共和党对其镇压的场所,都形成了某种意义上的“公共场所”,在这些公共场所中,表面上进行着两大阵营各自为夺取胜利所做出的努力,实则隐含了革命法律与人性道德之间暗潮汹涌的矛盾冲突。Victor Hugo’s Quatre-Vingt-Treize involves a lot of environmental descriptions,and the setting of many places makes the story more spatial and layered.Both the place of the Vendée rebellion and the place where the Republican Party suppressed it have formed a kind of“public place”.In these public places,the two camps on the surface are making their own eff orts to win the victory.In fact,the places imply a dark confl ict between the revolutionary law and human morality.
