摘　　要：大学生就业一直是社会所关注的热点话题,这涉及市场以及社会的稳步发展。近年来,由于高校扩招导致毕业生的数量增加,社会需求量与实际毕业人数不相匹配。市场对于英语人才的需求量几乎达到饱和,对于英语专业毕业生而言,就业形势更为严峻。2020年,由于新冠疫情,英语专业毕业生的就业更是受到巨大影响。因此,该文采用问卷调查的方式,同时参考湖南涉外经济学院外国语学院2020届英语专业毕业生就业情况,对英语专业毕业生就业现状进行分析及就业帮扶措施进行探究。The employment of college students has always been a hot topic concerned by the society,which involves the steady development of the market and society.In recent years,the expansion of college enrollment has led to an increase in the number of graduates,and the social demand does not match the actual number of graduates.The market demand for English talents has almost reached saturation,and the employment situation is more severe for English majors.In 2020,due to COVID-19,the employment of English majors was greatly affected.Therefore,this paper uses the method of questionnaire survey,and at the same time refers to the employment situation of English major graduates in 2020 in the School of Foreign Languages of Hunan International Economics University,analyzes the employment status of English major graduates and explores the employment assistance measures.
