巴布亚企鹅幼雏白肌病的诊断与防治

摘　　要：巴布亚企鹅(Pygoscelis papua)的自然分布区域为南极大陆及亚南极圈附近的海岛,近年来引进我国进行人工饲养和繁育。2018—2020年,对大连圣亚海洋世界场馆内自行繁育的巴布亚企鹅幼雏的观察发现,人工饲养环境下的巴布亚企鹅幼雏易感白肌病,该病通常为群体发病,表现为发病急、病程短、临床症状不典型,病死率可达90%。根据病死企鹅的临床特征及剖检病理结果可诊断为白肌病,治疗性诊断结果证实,该病是由于维生素E缺乏所致。通过对亲鸟企鹅饲料中添加维生素E,待幼雏企鹅独立摄食后,继续在其饲料中单独添加维生素E的预防治疗,取得了较好的治疗效果。研究表明,提供适宜的温度和相对安静的环境,在繁育期企鹅的日粮中添加适量的维生素E可有效预防此病。The natural distribution area of Papua penguins(Pygoscelis papua)is the Antarctic continent and the islands near the sub Antarctic circle.They have been introduced into China for artificial breeding and reproduction in recent years.Young Gentoo penguins in captivity are susceptible to white myopathy.The disease usually occurs in groups,characterized by acute onset,short course,the clinical symptoms are usually not typical,and the fatality rate even reach 90%.According to the clinical characteristics and pathological results of autopsy,the dead penguins were diagnosed as white myopathy,and the newborn penguins were supplied with vitamin E in their feed,which achieved good therapeutic effect.Our research shows that providing appropriate temperature and quiet environment while adding appropriate amount of vitamin E to the diet of breeding penguins can effectively prevent the disease.
