摘  要:傅斯年的"中华民族是整个的"观点,为顾颉刚的"中华民族是一个"说开辟了先路;但同中有异,其中包含富有智慧与个性的中华民族观。国难当头,傅斯年强调政治与学术相统一,以民族大义为重,表现出有别于单纯读书人的政治敏锐与远见卓识。费孝通、白寿彝当年同属学生辈,新中国成立后都超越了自己原来对"民族"的认识",殊途同归"。他们对于推动中华民族共同体意识最重要的思想创获,无疑在于前者提出了中华民族"多元一体格局"的理论;后者则提出了关于中国多民族统一国家的理论,并以此为指导撰成《中国通史》鸿篇巨制。二者皆超越当年的老师辈,双峰并峙,互相发明,相辅相成,为当下铸牢中华民族共同体意识,奠定了重要的思想基础。Fu Sinian’s view that "the Chinese Nation is a whole" paved the path for Gu Jiegang’ s thesis that "the Chinese Nation is One",they are similar but not precisely the same.Fei Xiaotong and Bai Shouyi were both students at the time and after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,they both transcended their previous understanding of "nationality" and "took the same approach".They both surpassed the elder generation,and like the twin peaks standing side by side,they promoted and complemented each other,laying an ideological foundation that is of great significance for consolidating the Consciousness of the Chinese National Community at present.
