摘　　要：中国的古近纪地层分布广泛,除西藏南部、新疆塔里木盆地西南部及台湾等地有海相沉积之外,其他地区均以陆相沉积为主。陆相地层中丰富的哺乳动物化石一直是古近纪生物地层划分、对比及时代确定的重要依据。根据不同时期有代表性的哺乳动物群,构建的中国古近纪哺乳动物生物地层框架——哺乳动物分期系统,成为中国建立区域性年代地层单位("阶")的基础。近年来,精细的哺乳动物生物地层学与古地磁研究等方法的结合,完善了中国古近纪年代地层序列,可为古近纪地层对比和时代确定提供参照。本文依据最新成果和对已有资料的分析,对各地区古近纪岩石地层序列和对比关系进行梳理,以对比表的形式提供参考。Paleogene strata are widely distributed and mainly of terrestrial deposits in China.Continuous efforts of palaeontologists have resulted in the establishment and improvement of the Chinese Land Mammal Ages,which form the basis of the Chinese Paleogene chronostratigraphic framework,a regional“Stage”system,with contributions from the palaeomagnetic researches.According to the recent advances of biostratigraphical and geochronological studies,together with reassessment of previous stratigraphic information,certain Paleogene stratigraphic sequences of different regions in China are briefly sorted out,and their correlation to the Chinese Paleogene chronostratigraphic system is presented in a series of correlation charts for reference.
