摘 要:针对配套某一主机厂的发动机水泵发生泄漏的故障率异常高的问题,通过分析确定水封处冷却液的结晶为引起水泵漏水的主要原因。为解决该问题,对水封处结晶形成的机理进行了探究,通过优化水封选型并结合流场分析和试验验证,确认不采用延长润滑(Extended Lubrication Capability,ELC)结构,能够加强水封动静环配合面周边的冷却液流动,降低硅酸颗粒的浓度及水封温度,避免结晶的析出。通过实际装机证明该改进是有效的,可以有效降低水泵的故障率,提高发动机的可靠性。Aiming at the problem of abnormally high failure rate of water pump leakage in the engine of a certain vehicle factory,the crystallization of coolant in water seal is determined as the main cause of water pump leakage by analyzing the failure components.In order to solve this problem,the mechanism of crystal formation in water seal was studied.By optimizing the type selection of water seal,combined with fluid analysis and experimental verification,it is confirmed that the use of non-ELC structure can strengthen the coolant flow around the coupling surface of water seal ring,reduce the concentration of silicic acid particles and water seal temperature,and avoid the precipitation of crystals.The improvement is proved to be effective by the actual installation,which can effectively reduce the failure rate of the pump and improve the reliability of the engine.
