麦卡锡后启示小说中的末日伦理困境

摘　　要：麦卡锡的《路》以后启示世界的极端条件为背景,深度探讨了人类所面临的伦理选择和伦理困境。《路》对绝境下"不为恶"这一伦理选择的探讨本质,仍然是人性与兽性界限的抉择问题。小说以父子关系及儿子对善恶的认知过程为辅线,强调作为外因的家庭伦理关系对个人伦理选择的重要性及二者的相互作用;而在人的内在驱动力方面,它突出的则是基督式的全人的"爱"和宗教信仰对个人内心良知的感召作用以及对社会伦理道德的规劝作用。值得注意的是,麦卡锡在个人宗教观念中强调的宗教信仰并非是对超验性力量的信仰,而始终是对人的价值和人的超越性力量的肯定。In order to explore the ethical choices and dilemmas faced by humanity, McCarthy puts the setting of The Road into a post-apocalypic world. The essence of the discussion about the ethical choice of"not be evil"is still the boundary between human nature and animal nature. Taking the relationship between father and son and the perception of good and evil as the subtle clue, the novel em-phasizes the importance of the family ethical relationship as an external cause to the personal choice in addition to the interaction between them. In terms of the internal driving force of people, it highlights the appeal role of the Christian love and religious faith on the individual inner conscience and the exhortation role of social ethics and morality. It is worth nothing that the religious belief emphasized in McCarthy’s personal religious concept is not the belief in the transcendental power, but always an affirmation of human’s value and transcendent power.
