摘 要:长期以来,我国英语教学中的跨文化意识培养侧重于本土文化对英语国家文化的适应,其着眼点是使学生理解、吸收英语国家文化,把跨文化意识培养等同于英语国家文化内容的引进,最终导致跨文化意识和育人目标发生偏差。近年来,随着我国综合国力的增长和文化自信的增强,英语教学中体现出跨文化意识双向成长的态势。本文基于英语教育跨文化意识双向成长的意义,分析了我国英语教育跨文化意识双向成长面临的挑战,提出了我国英语教育跨文化意识双向成长的有效路径。For a long time,the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness in China’s English teaching has focused on the adaptation of local culture to English culture.The emphasis was laid on making students understand and absorb English speaking countries’ culture,thus the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness was basically synonymous with introduction of culture of English speaking countries,which eventually leads to the deviation of cross-cultural awareness and the goal of educational purpose of higher education.In recent years,with the growth of China’s comprehensive national strength and the enhancement of cultural self-confidence,English teaching displays the trend of two-way growth of cross-cultural awareness.Based on the significance of the two-way growth of cross-cultural awareness in English education,this paper analyzes the challenges faced by the two-way growth of cross-cultural awareness in English education,and puts forward an effective path for the two-way growth of cross-cultural awareness in English education in China.
