摘 要:将线性聚丙烯酰胺与环氧氯丙烷反应进行支化改性,从分子结构的层面探讨了支化聚丙烯酰胺作为纸张增强剂的作用机理。通过红外光谱仪、差示扫描量热仪、乌氏黏度计对改性前后聚丙烯酰胺的官能团结构、热稳定性和黏度性质进行表征。支化改性后聚丙烯酰胺的环氧基和氢键数量增加,分子的空间结构和玻璃化转变温度发生了改变,改性后聚丙烯酰胺的黏度显著降低。支化聚丙烯酰胺能够提高纤维间的结合力,使纤维间的延展、拉伸作用得到明显的改善。纸张物理强度检测结果表明,相比于未改性聚丙烯酰胺,支化改性的聚丙烯酰胺使纸张抗张指数干强提高了34.0%,湿强提高141.1%。支化聚丙烯酰胺使干强提高的原因为纤维间的黏结更加紧密,提高了细小纤维的留着量。The branched polyacrylamide was prepared by reacting the linear polyacrylamide with epichlorohydrin and the mechanism of branched polyacrylamide as paper strengthening agent was discussed in the view of molecular structure.The functional groups,thermal stability and viscosity properties of polyacrylamide before and after modification were characterized by FT-IR,DSC and Ubbelohde viscometer.The contents of epoxy group and hydrogen bonds were increased,while the spatial structure of the molecule and the glass transition temperature of branched polyacrylamide was changed.The viscosity of modified branched polyacrylamide was decreased.Branched polyacrylamide could improve the binding force between fibers and obviously enlarge the elongation and tensile function between fibers.Thus,the bonds between the fibers became tighter under the action of branched polyacrylamide,and the elongation of the fibers was enhanced.Compared with linear polyacrylamide,the dry strength and wet strength of the paper with addition of branched polyacrylamide was increased by 34.0%and 141.1%.The tighter bonds between fibers after addition of branched polyacrylamide would generate higher retention efficiency of fine fibers,which was the main cause of the improving dry strength of paper after addition of branched polyacrylamide.
