Objective To evaluate the effect of personalized health management on psychological guidance of adolescent patients with metabolic syndrome. Methods A total of 130 adolescent patients with metabolic syndrome aged 16-30 years were randomly selected and randomly divided into observational group(65 cases) and control group(65 cases). The control group received routine health intervention, while the observational group implemented personalized health management on the basis of routine health intervention. The body mass index, blood pressure, blood lipid, and blood sugar index comparison were recorded before and 1 year after intervention. The CDSMQ self-management ability(mainly from the first aid management, life management, diet, medication management, bad habits, sports management, and emotional cognitive rating management in seven aspects), SCL-90 symptoms self-evaluation scale of mental health, and patient satisfaction were also compared. Results The body mass index, waist circumference, blood pressure, blood lipid, blood sugar and other indicators were significantly reduced in both groups after intervention(P<0.05), and the improvement were significantly more prominent in observational group than control group(P<0.05). The self-management ability and mental health score of the observational group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05), and the scores of anxiety and terror factor were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05), and the patient satisfaction was significantly better(P<0.05). Conclusion Personalized health management can significantly reduce the metabolic indexes of patients with metabolic syndrome, improve their self-management ability, reduce their anxiety and panic, help restore patients′ self-confidence, improve patients′ quality of life, and promote the physical and mental health development of adolescents.
