中国画的水墨破界及问题

摘　　要：从20世纪80年代现代美术思潮激发下的“现代水墨”、“抽象水墨”运动,到90年代的“实验水墨”运动,再到2000年以来的“新工笔”、“新水墨”,中国画的现代转型在近40年时间里始终面临着民族文化身份自觉、自洽的问题,面临着积极融入全球化的问题。今天,延续学院式中国画教学体系的创作者,往往是处于一种较为封闭的思想状态,且欠缺探索精神,很容易坠入固有的视觉和语言形式的陷阱;经历过“现代水墨”、“实验水墨”概念洗礼的艺术家,以水墨为名,意在推出将中国画学精神与西方当代艺术观念融合、并置的“当代水墨”,其国际化之路依然任重道远;更为年轻一代的创作者在“新工笔”、“新水墨”的概念下另辟蹊径,不再过于纠结水墨语言的文化身份属性问题,而是专注于描绘和表现画面的图像性和观念意识,尽管他们已取得的成绩可圈可点,但后来者也很容易在不觉间陷入这些新的视觉形式的困境。From the "Modern Ink and Wash" and "Abstract Ink and Wash" movements inspired by the ideological trend of modern art in the 1980 s, to the "Experimental Ink and Wash" movement in the 1990 s, to the "New Meticulous Brushwork" and "New Ink and Wash" movements originating from 2000, Chinese painting has endured modern transformation in the past 40 years, which has always faced the problem of self-consciousness and self-consistency of national cultural identity, and the challenge of actively integrating into globalization.Today, Chinese painting artists influenced by the academy-style teaching method are often not open-minded enough. The lack of exploration makes it easy for them to fall into the trap of inherent visual and language forms;When it comes to the artists baptized by the concepts of "modern ink and wash" and " experimental ink and wash", they intend to launch "contemporary ink and wash" that integrates and juxtaposes the spirit of Chinese painting and concepts in Western contemporary art, whose internationalization still has a long way to go;For the even younger generation of artists, under the concepts of the "New Meticulous Brushwork" and "New Ink and Wash", they have taken a different approach, which focuses on depicting and expressing the imagery and conceptual awareness of the picture, instead of concentrating too much on the cultural identity of ink painting. For these young artists, they have achieved remarkable results, whereas it is also easy for latecomers to fall into the predicament of these new visual forms unknowingly.
