摘　　要：学界有观点认为成舍我办学宗旨是为其所谓的报纸“问政”输送人才,其办学的目的和办报一样,是为了“赢利”,并直言其太过功利,因而培养不出“大师”。成舍我从事新闻教育不只是为所谓的“问政”,更在于“问民生”“问社情”,即培育学生关注时事、关注民生、关注社情的社会责任意识;不单单是图自己“赢利”,而在于追求既能缓解报社用人之困,又能满足学生实训之需的“双赢”;不奢求培养所谓“大师”,而在于设法培养贴合时代特点,能满足社会需要的不同层次的“一专多能”人才。Some scholars believe that Cheng Shewo's purpose of running a school is to supply talents for the so-called“supervising the government”of the newspaper.The purpose of running a school is the same as that of running a newspaper,which is to“make profits”.They hold that it's too utilitarian to produce masters.But in our view,Cheng Shewo engaged in journalism education not only for the so-called“supervising the government”,but also“supervising people's livelihood”and“asking about social situation”,that is,to cultivate students'awareness of social responsibility,such as paying attention to current affairs,people's livelihood and social situation;not only for their own“profit”but to pursue a“win-win”situation to alleviate the shortage of talents in the newspaper and meet the needs of students for practical training.Instead of extravagantly seeking to train the so-called“masters”,we should try to train“versatile”talents at different levels who fit the characteristics of the times and can meet the needs of society.
