摘 要:Al/Ti叠层复合材料具有密度低、比强度高、比刚度和抗冲击性高等优异性能,但是金属间化合物(Al3Ti)的脆性限制了其实际应用。通过引入纤维、陶瓷颗粒可以降低Al_(3)Ti的脆性,提高Al/Ti叠层复合材料的强度和韧性。本研究提出了一种碳化硼(B_(4)C)增强Al/Ti叠层复合材料的可行方法,以真空热压法制备出0.2mm厚B_(4)C薄片增强的Al/Ti叠层复合材料,并对该材料的界面形貌和扩散层成分进行了分析。通过控制Al的液相反应时间,探究了扩散层厚度对材料冲击韧性和抗弯强度的影响。结果表明:该材料通过B_(4)C薄片增强,形成了良好的硬度梯度分布,B_(4)C薄片不仅可以直接承载吸能,还诱导裂纹偏转,使Al/Ti叠层复合材料基体的强韧性均获得提升。在710℃保温60min的样品其冲击韧性为89 J/cm^(2),抗弯强度为756 MPa,相较扩散层Al_(3)Ti厚度与之接近的Al/Ti叠层复合材料基体分别提高51%和38%。在710℃保温30 min的样品性能最优,冲击韧性为109 J/cm^(2),抗弯强度为1167 MPa。Al/Ti laminated composite possesses remarkable properties, such as low density, high specific strength, high specific stiffness and high impact resistance. But its application has been limited because of the brittleness of Al_(3)Ti. Its strength and toughness can be improved by introducing fibers and ceramic particles. In the present study, a feasible method of boron carbide(B;C) reinforced Al/Ti laminated composite was proposed, and 0.2 mm thick B_(4)C sheets reinforced Al/Ti laminated composite was prepared by vacuum hot pressing method. And the interface morphology of the material and the composition of the diffusion layer were analyzed. The influence of diffusion layer thickness on the impact toughness and flexural strength of Al/Ti laminated composite was investigated by changing the liquid reaction time of Al. The results show that the material is reinforced by B_(4)C sheet, forming a good property gradient. B_(4)C sheets strengthen the substrate of the Ai/Ti laminated composite through directly receiving loads and deflecting crack. The impact toughness and bending strength of sample prepared at 710 ℃ for 60 min are 89 J/cm^(2) and 756 MPa, respectively, which are increased by 51% and 38% compared with the Al/Ti laminated composite substrate whose Al_(3)Ti diffusion layer thickness is close to itself. The sample prepared at 710 ℃ for 30 min has the best property, with the impact toughness of 109 J/cm^(2) and the bending strength of 1167 MPa.
