摘  要:PCBN刀具在硬切削加工中磨损严重,探究PCBN刀具的磨损机理,能够为改善刀具切削性能、提高加工效率提供指导。采用PCBN刀具进行高速硬车削AISI 4340高强钢试验,研究不同切削速度下的PCBN刀具的磨损形式及磨损机理。通过对比三种切削速度(v=150 m/min、210 m/min、300 m/min)切削两种硬度(43±1HRC和53±1HRC)的AISI 4340高强钢发现,切削速度越高、工件硬度越大刀具磨损越严重。研究表明,PCBN刀具主要磨损形式为前刀面与后刀面磨损,前刀面主要磨损机理为粘结磨损、氧化磨损;后刀面主要磨损机理为磨粒磨损、粘结磨损及氧化磨损;PCBN切削不同硬度的工件,刀具磨损机理相似。PCBN tool wear is serious in hard cutting.Exploring the wear mechanism of PCBN tool can provide guidance for improving the cutting performance of the tool and the processing efficiency.High-speed hard turning of AISI 4340 high strength steel is carried out with PCBN tool to investigate the wear pattern and wear mechanism of PCBN tool at different cutting speeds.By comparing AISI 4340 high strength steel with three cutting speeds(v=150 m/min,210 m/min,300 m/min)and two kinds of hardness(43±1HRC and 53±1HRC),it is found that the higher cutting speed and the greater hardness of the workpiece,the more serious tool wear.The results show that the main wear form of PCBN tool is rake wear and flank wear.The main wear mechanism of rake face is adhesive wear and oxidative wear.The main wear mechanism of flank face is abrasive wear,adhesive wear and oxidative wear.The tool wear mechanism is similar when PCBN is used to cut the workpiece with different harnesses.This work can provide theoretical reference and experimental guidance for high speed hard cutting of high strength steel.
