According to the principle of pile-soil interaction under vertical load, and considering the nonlinear characteristics of soil stress and strain, a simplified pile settlement model is established. The author takes the foundation piles of the viaduct from Shangcai to Luoshan on the Anyang-Luoshan Expressway as an engineering example to discuss the influence of the length and resilience of precast pipe piles on the settlement of foundation piles in sand foundations. The research results show that when the pile diameter is constant, the settlement of the foundation pile decreases with the increase of the pile length in a non-linear trend, and with the increase of the vertical load on the top of the pile, it shows a non-linear increase trend. Increasing the pile diameter can reduce the vertical load settlement of the pile foundation to a certain extent, but when the pile length increases to about 12 m with pile diameter of 800 mm, the pile length is no longer a key parameter to control the pile diameter settlement. The rebound rate of the foundation pile test samples fluctuates in a small range, and has basically no effect on the settlement of the foundation pile, which is expected to provide a reference for the design of foundation pile engineering.
