摘　　要：玉树是藏区极其重要的宗教中心之一,这一价值主要来自新寨的嘉那嘛呢石堆。它历经300余年的来自各方的信徒的堆放,目前有2.5亿块嘛呢石,规模为世界之最。玉树近40%的人口以雕刻嘛呢石为生。嘉那嘛呢石堆在玉树人心目中占据着不可比拟的地位。在地震之后,玉树人在修复自家住宅之前首先修复的就是嘛呢石堆。Yushu is a highly regarded religious center to local residents.Its significance comes mainly from Jiana Mani,the world's largest Buddhist stone pile.With a history of over three centuries,Jiana Mani currently bears more than 250 million pieces of Mani stone,and continues to grow with new pieces added daily by pilgrims.In Yushu,more than 40 per cent of the population lives from the carving of Mani stones.To the Yushu community,no site compares to Jiana Mani.After the 2010 earthquake,Yushu-ers immediately set off to repair Jiana Mani,long before they started repairing their own houses.
