闽北赤岩话长短调的声学和感知研究

摘　　要：前人研究显示长短在声调对立中的作用多是伴随性的,时长是否可以作为构成声调对立的区别性特征尚待确定性证据的验证。基于田野调查,我们发现闽北赤岩话存在长短调的对立。声学分析结果显示时长是区别长短调的唯一-因素,感知实验结果同样支持这--结论,声学和感知数据共同证实了时长可以作为长短调的区别性特征。这一研究成果不仅丰富了人们对声调对立类型的认识,也可以指导今后田野调查中的声调描写,即时长可以作为描写和定义声调的一个维度。最后,文章给出了基于言语产生和言语感知研究的声调定义与声调描写框架。Previous studies have shown that the role of length in tonal contrast is mostly concomitant.This study explores whether the length can be a distinctive feature in tonal contrast.Take the long and short tone in Northern Min(Chiyan variety)as an example,it turned out that the length is the only cue in distinguishing the long tone from the short tone on the basis of acoustic analysis.The results of the perceptual experiments have further testified this conclusion.These results not only enrich our understanding of the typology of tonal contrasts,but also guide the description and definition of tone in the linguistic fieldwork.That is,the length can be a dimension of tonal contrast.Finally,on the basis of speech production and speech perception,this paper proposes a new framework for the definition and description of tone.
