摘　　要：安妮·普鲁的代表作《船讯》是一部充满流动性色彩的小说。依据彼特·阿迪的流动性相关理论,《船讯》体现出人口流动、资本流动和文化流动等现象。流动性作为机会和自由的象征,促使人们获得更多财富,甚至改变人们的命运轨迹,使其获得重生,彰显出流动性解放的力量。同时,流动性导致国际资本的渗透,使当地生态环境破坏、传统生活方式受冲击以及地方特色消失,揭橥出流动性的破坏力。最后,兼具解放和束缚力量的流动性也展露出其悖论。在普鲁笔下,流动性具有矛盾属性,披露出其暗含的内在张力。Annie Proulx’s The Shipping News,her masterpiece,is a novel replete with mobilities.On the basis of Peter Adey’s theory of mobility,mobilities in The Shipping News include subject mobility,capital mobility and cultural exchange.Mobility,as a symbol of opportunity and freedom,promotes people to acquire more wealth,and even changes their own destiny and enables them to gain rebirth,which fully reflects the liberating power of mobility.In the meantime,mobility gives rise to the infiltration of international capital and causes the destruction of the local ecological environment,the disappearance of the traditional way of life and the decline of local characteristics,which displays the destructive power of mobility.Lastly,mobility,entailing the power of liberation and restriction,also displays its paradox.Under Proulx’s pen,mobility possesses paradoxical nature,which reveals its implied inner tension.
