柠檬酸络合法结合球磨分散制备高熵碳化物及其性能研究

摘  要:高熵碳化物陶瓷由于其熔点高、硬度大、热导率低和抗热震性强等优点,有望应用于航空航天领域,而粉体的合成是制备陶瓷的基础.本研究采用柠檬酸络合法结合球磨分散制备了(Zr_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Mo_(0.2))C和(Zr_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Hf_(0.2))C两种高熵碳化物粉体,并对其相组成、显微组织、元素分布和抗氧化性进行分析表征.结果表明:该方法可分别在1650℃和1850℃下合成单相的(Zr_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Mo_(0.2))C和(Zr_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Hf_(0.2))C碳化物粉体.两种碳化物元素分布均匀,平均粒径分别为44±9 nm和285±74 nm,氧含量为2.12%和0.58%.与混合的碳化物粉体相比两种高熵碳化物粉体具有良好的抗氧化性.High-entropy carbide ceramic has become new candidates of ultra-high temperature ceramics used as structural components in aerospace propulsion systems due to their advantages of high melting point,high hardness,low thermal conductivity and strong thermal shock resistance.The synthesis of powder is the basis of ceramic preparation.We developed a new method to synthesize single-phase high-entropy carbide powders by combining citric acid complexing method and ball-milling dispersion.Phase composition,microstructure,element distribution and oxidation resistance of the obtained carbide powders were investigated.Single-phase(Zr_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Mo_(0.2))C and(Zr_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Hf_(0.2))C are fabricated at 1650℃and 1850℃.Metal elements of the obtained powders are distributed uniformly.The particle sizes were 44±9 nm and 285±74 nm,and the oxygen content was 2.12%and 0.58%,respectively.The synthesized high entropy carbide powders have better oxidation resistance compared with the mixed carbide powders.
