英国华人族群融入主流社会初探

摘　　要：华人族群现已成为英国第三大少数族裔移民群体。从不同时期、不同地域移民英国的华人尽管存在内部差异,但在融入主流社会方面存在一定共性。一是经济融入层次较高,这是由华人职业层次、经济活力和收入水平等决定的;二是政治融入层次较低,其原因在于华人参政热情普遍不高,且华人族群内部分裂,组织性较低;三是华人的文化融入不断推进,这缘于英国华人新生代更高的文化融入意愿和融入能力。英国华人在英国主流社会中的经济融入、政治融入和文化融入等方面并不均衡,但随着华人新生代的崛起,整体的族群社会融入水平将进一步提升。The Chinese have now become the third largest ethnic minority in British society.Although there are internal differences among the Chinese who immigrated to Britain from different periods and regions,there are some commonalities in integrating into mainstream society.On the one hand,the level of economic inclusion is relatively high,which is determined by the relatively high professional level,economic vitality and income level of the Chinese people.On the other hand,the level of political integration is relatively low,which is due to the generally low enthusiasm of the Chinese people in participating in politics and the internal division among the Chinese people.Thirdly,the level of cultural integration of the Chinese is increasing steadily,which is due to the higher cultural integration willingness and ability of the new generation of Chinese in Britain.The economic integration,political integration and cultural integration of Chinese in Britain are not balanced,but with the rise of the Chinese New Generation,the overall level of ethnic social inclusion will be further enhanced.
