摘　　要：介绍了胡克的生平及其对英国皇家科学院的贡献,总结了其对呼吸生理学、光学、建筑学、地质学、气象学、海洋学学科的贡献。梳理了胡克与牛顿几次争议事件的起因和经过,剖析了他被抹杀的原因,为后世了解这一伟大的科学家提供参考。This paper briefly introduces Hooke’s life and his contribution to the Royal Academy of Sciences,and it also summarizes his contributions to respiratory physiology,optics,architecture,geology,meteorology,and oceanography.After discussing the causes and processes of several disputes between Hooke and Newton,it briefly analyzed the possible reasons why he was obliterated,which provides reference for future generations to understand this great scientist.
