海南岛迈人、迈话来源探析

摘　　要：迈话是海南三亚崖州"迈人"使用的语言,"迈"来自黎语对非本族人的称呼mo■i;。"迈人"应为明代上岸定居的"疍民"与当时岸上居住的唐宋时期汉族移民的后裔逐渐融合形成的;而迈话则是"疍民"使用的语言,其属性为粤方言。The Mai dialect is spoken by the Mai people living in Yazhou district, Sanya City,Hainan Province, wherein the term Mai comes from the Li(Hlai) word mo■i;, originally meaning "non-Hlai people". The present study proposes that the Mai people descend from the sedentary Danjia(Tanka) people of the Ming dynasty and the offsprings of the Han settlers living therein since the Tang and Song times, and the Mai dialect is the speech of the sedentary Tanka people,which is a variety of Cantonese.
