从《经义述闻》看王氏之俗字观

摘　　要：俗字源远流长,古时却未被足够重视,经过近现代学者的不断研究,尤其是改革开放后敦煌俗字的相继探讨,俗字研究已成为文字学界的研究方向之一,成果较多,并有逐渐向近古延伸的趋势。王引之《经义述闻》是清代朴学的代表作,其论述中所涉俗字问题,属于近古俗字的研究范畴。相比之下,同时期的段玉裁《说文解字注》所论俗字已有专论,然而,《经义述闻》所论俗字的研究却尚未发现。以清代王引之《经义述闻》所论俗字为研究对象,在点校的基础上,穷尽式探讨其类型、作用、方法、对比等问题,可以发现:王氏俗字有7种类型,以补证形讹为主要作用;通过清代王引之《经义述闻》所论俗字与清代王引之《经传释词》、清代王念孙《读书杂志》、清代段玉裁《说文解字注》及《玉篇》《广韵》等所论俗字的对比,将有益于管窥王氏父子的俗字观、补证单个俗字的考辨、总结整个俗字演变史的规律,甚至纠正现代字典辞书中的错误。Wang Yinzhi’s Jing Yi Shu Wen is one of the masterpieces in the Qing Dynasty. Its vernacular characters’ research belongs to the research of the ancient time nearest to the present. Compared to Shuo Wen Jie Zi Zhu, its vernacular characters’ research hasn’t been found yet. Taking its vernacular characters as the subject investigated, taking its emendation as the basis, taking all of its type, function, method, contrast and so on as the content, we can find that there are seven types, the main function is to prove the font errors. The comparison of the vernacular characters in Jing Yi Shu Wen with the vernacular characters in Jing Zhuan Shi Ci, Du Shu Za Zhi, Shuo Wen Jie Zi Zhu and Yu Pian, Guang Yun wound also be helpful to the research of Wang’s view on the vernacular characters, the supplement of vernacular characters’ textual criticism data, the summary of vernacular characters’ evolution law, and even the error correction of modern dictionaries.
