摘　　要：历史社会语言学是近年来一个新兴学科。它始于上世纪80年代,经历早期探索、深入研究和全面发展3个阶段,初步形成自己的学科体系。历史社会语言学以语言变异和变化研究为核心,覆盖语言历史研究的微观和宏观领域,建立起社会因素与特定历史时期内语言使用之间的联系,吸取社会学、历史学、语料库语言学等多个学科的养分,体现跨学科研究的范式。本文对历史社会语言学做出概要性述评,明晰其发展历程和学科定位,对比历史社会语言学和一般社会语言学的研究方法,分析其研究意义及存在的问题。Historical sociolinguistics is a new discipline in recent years.Beginning in 1980’s,it experienced three stages of early exploration,deep research and all-round development,and initially formed its own disciplinary system.Focusing on language variation and change,historical sociolinguistics covers the micro and macro areas of language history research and establishes the correlation between social factors and language use in a given historical period.It absorbs nutrition from various disciplines such as socio-logy,history,corpus linguistics and so on,indicating the paradigm of cross-disciplinary research.This paper gives a brief review on historical sociolinguistics.It combs the development course of the discipline,clarifies its position,compares the research methods of historical sociolinguistics and sociolinguistics,and finally analyzes the research significance and existing problems.
