刘柳仕履与颜延之起家时间考辨

摘　　要：《宋书·颜延之传》载颜延之三十岁时尚未出仕,其起家官为后将军行参军,府主为后将军、吴国内史刘柳。然而由《宋书·谢瞻传》等可以推知,刘柳任吴国内史时,颜延之约二十岁。为避免时间冲突,有研究者认为《宋书·颜延之传》所载刘柳任吴国内史时间有误,进而将颜延之的起家时间提前十年左右。这种解释与现有史料存在三处明显矛盾,难以成立。由刘柳仕履来看,刘柳曾两次任吴国内史,第一次在元兴二年(403)至义熙元年(405),为建威将军、吴国内史;第二次在义熙十年(414)至十一年(415),为后将军、吴国内史。如此则史籍所载颜延之起家年龄及刘柳官职等均无误,可与相关文献材料自洽兼容,而不必臆改原始文本。The biography of Yan Yanzhi in The Song Annals that Yan Yanzhi was not an official at the age of 30.His first official position was staff officer of back-general.His chief officer is Liu Liu,the backgeneral and the chief executive of the kingdom of Wu.However,it can be inferred from the biography of Xie Zhan in The Song Annals that Yan Yanzhi was about 20 years old when Liu Liu was appointed as the chief executive of the kingdom of Wu.In order to avoid time conflict,some researchers believe that Liu Liu's appointment as an official in the chief executive of the kingdom of Wu contained in the biography of Yan Yanzhi in The Song Annals is wrong,and then advance the time of Yan Yanzhi began to be an official by about ten years.There are three obvious contradictions between this interpretation and the existing historical materials,which are difficult to establish.From Liu Liu's official experience,Liu Liu served as the chief executive of the kingdom of Wu twice.For the first time,from the second year of Yuan Xing(403 AD)to the first year of Yi Xi(405 AD),he was Jianwei-general and the chief executive of the kingdom of Wu.The second time in the 10th year of Yi Xi(414 AD)to the 11th year of Yi Xi(415 AD),he was back-general and the chief executive of the kingdom of Wu.In this way,the age of Yan Yanzhi began to be an official and the official rank of Liu Liu contained in the historical records is correct,which can be self-consistent and compatible with the relevant literature without having to change the original text.
