摘　　要：湘研55号是以小牛角椒自交系RN16-424为母本,以深绿牛角椒自交系R1019为父本配制而成的杂交一代。中熟,植株生长势强,适应性好;果实长牛角形,果实由绿色转红色,果顶尖,果表微皱;果纵径20~22 cm,果横径3.0~3.5 cm,果肉厚0.22 cm,平均单果质量45 g;果实中Vc含量1450 mg/kg(FW),辣椒素含量为0.054 g/kg,干物质含量11.5%,微辣,肉质脆嫩,品质好。田间耐热及耐旱性强,抗病毒病、疫病及炭疽病能力强,每667 m^(2)鲜椒产量2400 kg左右,适合在湖南、湖北、广东、广西等地区露地丰产栽培或秋延后栽培。Xiangyan 55 is a F_(1)hybrid which was bred by using small cayenne pepper inbred line RN16-424 as the female parent and dark green cayenne pepper R1019 as the male parent.With medium maturity,the variety has strong vigor and good adaption.Its fruit is in long cow-horn shape with wrinkled surface and turns from green to red at maturity.With average fruit length of 20~22 cm,diameter of 3.0~3.5 cm,and flesh thickness of 0.22 cm,its average fruit weight is about 45 g.The contents of Vc,capsaicine,and dry matters are 1450 mg/kg,0.054 g/kg,and 11.5%,respectively.With light pungency,its fruit has crisp and tender tasting.Meanwhile,the variety has strong tolerance to heat,drought,and resistance to virus,and anthrax disease.The yield of fresh pepper is about 36 t/hm^(2).This variety is suitable for cultivation in open field in Hunan,Hubei,Guangdong and Guangxi provinces.
