功能语言学语境观下中国典籍文化词的翻译——以《论语》核心词“仁”翻译为例

摘　　要：从功能语言学的语境观出发,考察“仁”字的语义演进过程,对比分析《论语》不同译者“仁”字对应词,折射出不同译者对待中国传统文化的态度、对中国哲学思想的理解和诠释。中国传统文化核心词汇的翻译宜采用拼音加注的方法,这样不仅有助于弘扬中国传统文化、纠正中西文化交流的不平衡,同时促进中国典籍的外译与传播,有利于中国文化走向世界。From the contextual perspective of Functional Linguistics,this paper strives to conduct a contrastive analysis of the semantic evolution of"Ren"and its equivalents rendered by different translators,thus generating in-depth perceptions of their distinctive understanding,interpretation and attitudes towards traditional Chinese philosophy and culture.The author concludes that it's advisable to apply the Chinese Pinyin System with notes into the translation process,precisely for the purpose of promoting the translation and dissemination of Chinese classics,remedying the imbalanced Sino-foreign cultural exchanges,and accelerating the process of Chinese culture"going global."
