摘　　要：THE GLOBAL STATUS OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC Since the discovery of a novel type of coronavirus named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2,also known as 2019-nCoV,or HCoV-19)(1),the causative agent of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),COVID-19 has been spreading globally during a short period of time.As of August 17,COVID-19 had caused more than 206 million infections,of which more than 4 million had died worldwide(2),which is the worst pandemic caused by coronaviruses thus far.
