摘  要:无需添加吸收剂对透明聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)塑料直接进行激光焊接,减少吸收剂的残留,同时通过优化工艺提高焊缝强度。采用CO_(2)激光对塑料表面进行预处理,增加材料表面对激光能量的吸收率,然后采用半导体激光器进行透射焊接实验,采用原子力显微镜(AFM)测试焊缝表面状态,采用X射线光电子能谱技术(XPS)测试焊缝表面材料的自由能。经过CO_(2)激光预处理后,对激光的吸收率进一步增强,焊缝拉伸强度测试结果表明,经过CO_(2)激光表面预处理后的焊缝拉伸强度为57 MPa,比未预处理的焊缝提高了2倍。CO_(2)激光表面预处理提高了材料表面的粗糙度,促进了分子链的扩散和纠缠,将有利于提高焊缝拉伸强度。Transparent polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)plastic without adding absorbent was directly welded by laser to reduce absorbent residue.Meanwhile,the strength of welds was improved by optimizing the process.The carbon dioxide(CO_(2))laser was used to pretreat the plastic surface to increase the absorption rate of laser energy on the material surface.Then the transmission welding experiment was carried out by a semiconductor laser.The surface state was measured by atomic force microscope(AFM)and the free energy of the material on the weld surface was measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).After CO_(2) laser pretreatment,the absorption rate of laser was enhanced.The results of tensile strength testing show that tensile strength of the welds after CO_(2) laser surface pretreatment could reach 57 MPa,which is 2 times higher than that of the welds without pretreatment.The CO_(2) laser surface pretreatment could improve the surface roughness,which promotes the diffusion of molecular chains,which is beneficial to improve the shear strength of the welds.
