Aiming at the problem that the controllable energy criterion does not consider the external excitation, the controllable Grammian matrix was taken as the research object, the influence degree of the external excitation on the controllable Grammian matrix was analyzed.A more affected modes in the controllable Grammian matrix for optimal control were selected, and a controllable energy criterion for specific modes was obtained.Taking the 20-story benchmark model as the research object, the structural vibration responses under the actuator uniform distribution, controllable energy criterion and controllable energy criterion arrangement for specific modes were compared. The simulation results show that the actuator positioning for specific modes can effectively suppress the structural vibration response, and this method can reduce the top-level vibration response by 38.6%~68.5%,Compared with the traditional controllable energy criterion, the toplevel control effect can be improved by 2.021%to 12.71%,which verifies the effectiveness of the optimization criterion and provides a new method for actuator layout of high-rise buildings.
