摘 要:鲁迅1916年抄校《法显传》是他与法显的一次精神遇合。法显的取经和译经活动是中国文化史上一次主动“拿来”的壮举,而鲁迅一生从事翻译和学术等工作,是对法显“拿来主义”精神的继承和发扬。鲁迅抄校《法显传》与其佛学研究紧密相关,也与他的小说研究有关,是他中断佛学研习、坚守学术研究的一个标志。抄校《法显传》既是鲁迅对自己此前大量研读佛经的一个总结,也是他探索自我精神世界,坚守文化学术事业的一次发愿。法显的求法行动与精神对鲁迅的佛学研究和思想发展起到一定的影响,是他的佛学研究和文化志业的一个榜样。Lu Xun's transcription and collation of the Travels of Fa-hsian(Records of the Buddhistic Kingdoms)in 1916 was a spiritual encounter with Fa-hsian,the Buddhist monk of Jin Dynasty,whose activities of dharma-seeking and translating were a feat of active cultural“bringing-in”in Chinese history.Lu Xun's career in translation and academic research is an inheritance and development of Fa-hsian's“bringing-in”spirit,and his transcription and collation of the Travels of Fa-hsian is not only closely related to his Buddhism studies,but also related to his studies on the history of Chinese novel.It is a symbol that he interrupted Buddhist studies and adhered to his academic research.It was not only a summary of his years-long study of Buddhist scriptures,but also a renewed resolution to explore his spiritual world by staying with cultural and academic career.Fa-hsian's dharma-seeking spirit had a certain influence on Lu Xun’s Buddhism study and ideological development,and provided a model to his Buddhism research and cultural aspirations.
