摘　　要：Viburnum opulus,belonging to Viburnum of Caprifoliaceae family,is commonly used as a Chinese herbal medicine.Many chemical constituents have been isolated from V.opulus,including flavonoids,flavone glycosides,volatile oils and terpenoids.It has antioxidant,antibacterial,antispasmodic,and anticancer effects.V.opulus,with a variety of chemical constituents and remarkable activities,has attracted wide attention.Hence,this report is presented as a review centered on the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of V.opulus,in order to provide reference for further research and development of Viburnum opulus.
