摘　　要：在明代,广东海防分为东、中、西三路。从广东海防自身的发展脉络来看,分路可能形成于明代前期,至迟不晚于嘉靖初年。肇庆府虽然位于沿海,但其在明人的眼中海防地位并不重要,它可能属于海防的西路。相关文献未载它分属何路,可能与其少有海患有关。海防分路的划分与水寨信地、分巡道、参将、卫所防区等因素皆无关系,它可能与倭寇的入侵路线和广州府的政治、军事、经济的中心地位及现实需要有关。In the Ming Dynasty,Guangdong coastal defense was divided into east,middle and west three routes.Under the perspective of the development context of Guangdong coastal defense itself,the routes division may had formed in the early Ming Dynasty,no later than the early years of Jiajing.Although Zhaoqing Prefecture is located along the coast,its status of coastal defense is not important in the eyes of the Ming people.It may belong to the west route of coast defense.The relevant literature did not record which route it belongs to,which may be related to the fact that it was seldom invaded by pirates.The routes division of the coastal defense had nothing to do with such as Shuizhai (水寨) cruise areas,Fenxundao (分巡道),assistant brigade commander,and defense areas of Weisuo (卫所). It may be related to the invasion route of Japanese pirates and the central position of politics,military,economy and the practical needs of Guangzhou Prefecture.
