摘　　要：晚清上海徐家汇地区的天主教神父晁德蒞编译的拉丁文五卷本《中国文化教程》是一部供来华传教士学习汉语和中国文化的课本,也是一套中国古代经典的文选和中国传统文化的百科全书,对当时西方来华传教士和欧洲汉学界均产生了影响。该书第一卷广泛译介了中国戏曲、小说,是拉丁文最大规模翻译中国通俗文学的选集。本文主要讨论晁译的译文风格、译词、汉语语法和西化策略,并对注释等阐释文本的汉学建构和天主教阐发进行探讨。在此基础上,本文认为该书对中国通俗文学拉丁文译介具有开创性贡献,构成了明清中国经典西译的一种模式,在中国文学典籍外译史上占有重要地位。During the late Qing dynasty in Shanghai,Fr.A.Zottoli,a Catholic missionary,published the five volumes of his Cursus Litteraturae Sinicae,a Latin textbook of Chinese language and culture for Western missionaries arriving in China,influencing both missionaries and Western Sinology.The first volume is an anthology of Chinese popular literature,including various novels and dramas.This paper discusses Zottoli’s translation styles,translated words,Latinization of Chinese grammar,the strategy of contextual Westernization,and his Catholic interpretations.The paper regards his book as the summit of the Latin version of Chinese novels and dramas,occupying a significant state in the translation history of Chinese classics into foreign languages.
