摘　　要：The monument was erected in 823 AD in front of the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa.Its inscription,carved in both Tibetan and Chinese characters,eulogized the alliance between the central government of the Tang Dynasty and the Tubo Kingdom.The monument is a historical proof of the unity and friendship between Han and Tibetansfor generations.
