孤独、希望与爱:《克拉拉与太阳》的情感书写

摘　　要：石黑一雄新作《克拉拉与太阳》从孤独、希望和爱三个维度呈现了全新的情感肌理:小说借机器人扮演人造朋友、孩子间定期的交际活动和共同体形塑揭示了现代人的孤独及其应对之策;在未知与困境中保持希望是化解小说中多重危机的有效方法;父母与子女之间的爱、机器人克拉拉对乔西的爱以及孩子间的爱是爱的多维演绎。本文认为,该小说一改石黑一雄以往小说令人抑郁的情感呈现,整体传递出积极向上的乐观基调,即:“爱”孕育“希望”,又与“希望”相互滋养,既能战胜“孤独”,又能抵御生活中的未知与困境,有不同于石黑一雄以往作品的当下性与现实意义。Kazuo Ishiguro’s latest novel,Klara and the Sun,offers a new emotional texture involving loneliness,hope and love.It reveals modern people’s loneliness and coping strategies by presenting robots as artificial friends and children,engaging in regular interactive meetings and cooperating in the community.Maintaining hope and love in unknown and difficult situations,the novel suggests,helps resolve crises.This paper argues that this novel involves a change in Ishiguro’s pessimism from his previous seven novels,conveying instead a hopeful,positive and optimistic tone.Ishiguro shows that love breeds and nourishes hope,overcomes loneliness and resists hardship.Klara and the Sun thus distinguishing itself from Ishiguro’s previous novels with its current relevance.
