摘　　要：纪德与瓦莱里作为20世纪上半叶法国文坛的翘楚,宗教、文学、政治观念迥异,却保持了五十余年的完美友谊。本文通过二人通信梳理了这份非凡友谊的历程,进而就其中重要的思想碰撞,探讨了二人分歧所在,以及超越差异达于和谐的深层原因。其中最为重要的,一方面是二人交往之初的青春意气及之后彼此的关切与胸襟等情感因素,另一方面是二人对完美与纯粹的理想始终不懈的追求,这一切成就了他们融合感性与智性的毫无功利的纯粹友谊。Gide and Valéry, two outstanding French writers of their generation in the first half of the twentieth century, maintained a perfect friendship for over fifty years despite their different religious, literary and political views as well as their different attitudes in composition. This article explores the history of this remarkable friendship through their correspondence and discusses their differences by analyzing the collision of disparate ideas and the reasons for their convergence beyond divergence.
