《爱丽尔》中的积极生命意识及其成因探究

摘　　要：西尔维亚·普拉斯是20世纪“自白派”诗歌的代表人物,她的晚期诗歌普遍被认为是压抑、孤独、缺少生命活力的,但对其诗集《爱丽尔》进行文本细读,可以发现普拉斯的晚期诗歌中并不只有悲观消极的痛苦意识,同时也包含着“母爱”主题与对生命力的赞美等积极、乐观的生命意识。对此进行进一步的研究和探讨能让我们对普拉斯诗歌有更全面的了解。并且普拉斯的《爱丽尔》中出现的积极生命意识与普拉斯的个人性格和其整个诗歌生涯都有密切关联,而不是一种断片式的孤例。Sylvia Plath’s late poetry is generally regarded as depressing,lonely and lacking in vitality,but a close reading of the text of her collection Ariel reveals that Plath’s late poetry is not only pessimistic and negative in its sense of suffering,but also contains positive and optimistic themes of life such as“mother’s love”and the praise of vitality consciousness.Further research and exploration can provide a more comprehensive understanding of Plath’s poetry.And the active life consciousness that appears in Plath’s Ariel is closely related to Plath’s personal character and his entire poetic career,rather than a fragmentary isolated example.
