因时而变的侦探小说——一个俄国探案故事的漂流

摘　　要：一篇俄国侦探小说十多年间分别刊载于《浙江潮》《新小说》《绣像小说》《眉语》,不同的讲述者在不改变故事内核的情形下,进行了侧重点不同的演绎。从述说域外故事之奇,到推崇西方法律和科学、赞扬侦探睿智神勇,到针砭国内弊病,再到渲染女色危害,呈现出各具特色的文本内涵。文章试图通过这个侦探故事的演变,呈现社会环境变动、刊物宗旨不同以及译介者动机对侦探小说的影响,由此一窥近代侦探小说的流变。A Russian detective case had been published in Zhejiang Tide,New Novel,Illustration Novel,Eyebrow Stories for more than ten years.Different narrators presented the case with various focuses but without changing the core of the story.From telling exotic stories from abroad,to advocating the Western legal practice,praising the wisdom and courage of detectives,to criticizing domestic ills,and then to exaggerating the harm of voluptuary,each of the stories embodies distinctive text connotation.Based on the evolution of this detective story,this paper attempts to show the influences of changing social environment,and different publishing purposes on detective novels,so as to reveal the evolution of modern detective novels.
