叶小凤《古戍寒笳记》的版本试说

摘　　要：《古戍寒笳记》是叶小凤最负盛名的作品,而学界却从未探讨过它的版本问题,文章就其三个版本—《七襄》版、《民国日报》连载版和上海小说丛报社单行本—的差异进行讨论。从回目、情节、文字三个方面看,《民国日报》连载版对于《七襄》版的修改与调整,主要集中于对“艳”的内容的删改,以及对于烈士情感的纯化,体现了作品伦理约束的特征和作者情感克制的原则,反映了叶小凤在坚持“教化”的小说创作理念的同时,也注重以“正史写男女至性”的创作准则。叶小凤借助地理空间来架构小说全篇,具有明显而准确的地理空间意识,这种新型的结构意识折射出的正是民国初年民族、国家建构遭遇的复杂地缘危机,以及当时知识分子对国土、地域的审视和忧虑。Story of the Ancient Garrison is Ye Xiaofeng’s most famous novel,but the academic circle has never discussed the book editions.The paper discusses the differences between the novel’s three editions,namely the Qixiang edition,the Republic of China Daily serial edition,and the Shanghai Novel Series separate edition.From the three aspects of chapter,plot and style,the Republic of China Daily serial edition of Story of the Ancient Garrison abridged the Qixiang edition mainly by revising and adapting the“sensual”parts,and purifying the martyrs’inner feelings,which showed the characteristic of ethical binding and the rule of emotional constraining,and reflected that Ye Xiaofeng had the novel writing concept of“enlightenment”,and upheld the literary principle of“portraying the true nature of men and women with serious history”.Ye Xiaofeng constructed the whole novel on the basis geographical space,which showed an obvious and accurate geographical space consciousness.This new structural consciousness reflected the complex geographical crisis confronting the nation and country in the early Republic of China,as well as the intellectuals’reviews and concerns about the territory and the regions.
