摘　　要：1941年2月,美国总统特使居里第一次访华。围绕国共冲突调解、战时美国对华援助、战后美中合作等问题,蒋介石与居里展开会谈。关于居里第一次访华,涉及国共冲突问题,蒋介石认为包括居里在内的美国朝野受中共宣传的误导很深,"最后乃悟实情";涉及美国战时援助和战后中美合作问题,认为"居里为人热心可嘉,其对我经济财政之贡献意见,亦全出于至诚"。居里访华结束后继续出谋划策,蒋介石认为"得其心也"。蒋之所以产生既不满又欣喜的矛盾心理,是因为他深知允许美国介入国共关系,会对其权力和"反共大业"构成一种潜在的威胁;而对于居里提供的经济、财政方面的意见及其访华后的出谋划策,蒋持赞赏态度,因为无论是战时还是战后,在解决抗日、反共、中苏关系、战后发展及中国大国地位等问题上,由于中国国力较弱,他必须求得美国的援助、支持和合作。The special envoy of the US President Curie visited China for the first time in February 1941.He held talks with Chiang Kai-shek on issues such as persuading the conflict between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party,US aid to China during the war,and postwar US-China cooperation.Chiang Kai-shek’s ambivalence towards Curie affected China’s foreign strategy and diplomacy with the United States.Regarding Curie’s first visit to China,when it came to the conflict between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party,Chiang Kai-shek believed that the U.S.government and the opposition,including Curie,were deeply misled by the CCP’s propaganda,"in the end,they learned the truth";it involved US wartime assistance and post-war assistance.On the issue of Sino-US cooperation,he believed that"Curie is enthusiastic and commendable,and his contributions to China’s economy and finance are all based on sincerity".After Curie’s visit to China,he continued to make suggestions,and Chiang Kai-shek believed that he"has his heart".The reason for the ambivalence of dissatisfaction and joy is that Chiang knew that allowing the United States to intervene in the relationship between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party would pose a potential threat to its power and Anti Communist cause.Regarding Curie’s economic and financial contributions and continued advice after his visit to China,Chiang appreciated it,because both during and after the war,he must seek aid,support and cooperation from the United States because of China’s weak national power when solving the problems of anti-Japanese,anti-communist,Sino-Soviet relations,post-war development and China’s status as a major power.
