摘 要:烷基烯酮二聚体(AKD)是造纸中常用的一种反应型施胶剂,用于中碱性施胶,可以给纸张和纸板提供一定的疏水性。AKD的施胶机理和纤维素上的羟基进行反应有关。如果纸机条件不当或AKD型号选择不当,会造成AKD在水中形成BETA-酮酸,并脱羧生成相应的酮,失去其活性基团,造成AKD施胶效率下降,甚至会造成沉积物和纸病,使纸厂蒙受损失;所以,在造纸生产中根据纸机条件正确地选择AKD的型号意义重大。AKD根据其碳链长度比例不同分为不同型号,常见的有1840、1865和1895等3种。该文在不同温度下,模拟了纸厂的纸机条件,对3种型号的AKD乳液的水解性质进行了实验,其结果对AKD的选择有一定的参考意义。Alkyl ketene dimer(AKD)is a reactive sizing agent commonly used in papermaking.It is used in neutral and alkaline sizing to provide hydrophobicity to paper and board.The sizing mechanism of AKD is related with the reaction between hydroxyl group on cellulose and ketene group.If the paper machine conditions are improper or the AKD type is not selected properly,AKD will formβ-keto acid in water and decarboxylate to form the corresponding ketone,resulting in reactive group lose and sizing efficiency decrease.This may even cause deposits and paper defect,making paper mill suffer losses.Therefore,the correct choice of AKD model according to the paper machine conditions is important in paper production.AKD is categorized into different models according to its carbon chain length.The common models are 1840,1865 and 1895.In this paper,the hydrolysis properties of three types of AKD emulsions were experimented under different temperatures and simulated paper machine conditions,and the results could be used to guide the selection of AKD.
