摘 要:IT资源描述广泛应用于计算机、通信、网络和云计算等众多领域,是高效管理和利用资源的前提与基础,其准确性和完整性直接影响IT资源的利用率和网络提供服务的能力。选择综合性能较好的描述语言对合理分配网络资源、妥善解决网络资源异构化和泛在化等问题至关重要。简述了通用型和专用型资源描述语言的基本定义、主要特点和适用场景,详细介绍了3种通用型和专用型资源描述语言,根据描述能力和查询服务能力对比分析主要通用型资源描述语言,提出网络资源描述语言的未来发展设想。Information Technology(IT)resource description is used widely in many areas such as computers,communications,network and cloud computing,which is the prerequisite and basis of efficient resource management and utilization.The accuracy and integrity of IT resource description directly affects both the resource utilization and the network’s service supply ability.Selecting a description language with better performance plays a significant role in the rational allocation of network resources and the proper solution to the heterogeneity and ubiquity of network resources.The basic definitions,main characteristics and application scenarios of the general and dedicated resource description languages are briefly introuced,and the three general and dedicated resource description languages are discussed in details.In addition,a comparative analysis of the general and dedicated resource description languages is also given according to the description ability and service enquiry ability.Finally,a future development vision of network resource description language is put forward.
